Meet V. Ocampo LMT
he/they
I believe every body deserves nourishing, intentional care and rest.
In my practice, my goal is to create the kind of space I would've felt safe receiving bodywork in before I became a massage therapist—a space where your comfort, experience, and treatment goals are at the center of care, and where the approach is collaborative rather than prescriptive.
My practice's philosophy can be summed up in one sentence:
"It's your time, use it how you need to."
I genuinely say this at the start of every session because I believe people deserve to show up exactly as they are, even if that changes from one day to the next.
Whether you're managing chronic pain, recovering from injury or surgery, looking for affirming care, or simply needing a moment to reconnect with yourself, treatment is built around your goals and what your body needs that day.
I create a safer space on my table by centering your goals, your safety, and your comfort.
How I Work
My approach is collaborative and client-led.
Some clients come in needing focused work on a specific issue. Others need a space to slow down and reconnect with their bodies. Most people need a little of both.
Sessions may incorporate therapeutic massage, sports massage, trigger point work, stretching, and manual lymphatic drainage techniques depending on your goals and needs.
My role is not to tell you what your body needs, but to work with you to figure it out.
Training & Approach
I help people move through pain, recovery, stress, and the demands of everyday life with more comfort and confidence.
My work draws from therapeutic massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and manual lymphatic drainage training. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs and may blend techniques to support pain management, recovery, mobility, relaxation, and long-term well-being.
My MLD work is informed by Vodder Method Level 1 training and ongoing continuing education in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and recovery-focused care through the Vodder School to better support the people I serve.
A Little More About Me
I live proudly as a trans person of Colombian and Filipino descent. My lived experiences continue to shape the way I approach safety, trust, and inclusivity within healthcare, wellness, and bodywork spaces.
Outside of the office, I enjoy gardening, cooking, hiking, refereeing soccer, and occasionally hosting karaoke at Bonifacio: Modern Filipino.
Catch me at Manila Nights every last Tuesday of the month!
